Suning Invested RMB 20 Billion in AC Subsidy for County Markets

On March 4, 2021 an air conditioner white book was released by Suning. Focusing on the two key words of new energy efficiency and health, Suning revealed its four strategies for air conditioners in 2021, announcing the establishment of its 'Lung Purifying 3.0 Alliance'. At the release ceremony, experts from China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute (CHEARI) analyzed the state policy guidance, elaborating on new policies that the state is applying in the household electrical appliances industry, especially for air conditioners. These polices call for enterprises to seize this opportunity to achieve new growth points including high energy efficiency, health, smart operation, and trade-ins of old equipment for new, creating a winwin approach for consumers and enterprises. Since 2021, meeting new national standards while providing high quality and healthy air in a stylish manner will become major product goals and new icons for Suning air conditioners.
