Water & wastewater: Assessing pump functionality and efficiency

摘要

Functionality is far more important than efficiency when selecting a wastewater pump, since maintenance and fault clearance is expensive; reduces the operational reliability and has a large impact on the carbon footprint of the whole pumping system. This article presents a way to assess both the functional fulfilment and efficiency of a wastewater pump.
