Q: What does your company do? A: I wear two hats, one from our family business, Broomfield, and the other for Thermoplastics Engineering Corporation (TEC), which we recently acquired. See p. 14. TEC engineers and manufactures extruders, cablers, respoolers, payoffs and take-ups, and other custom equipment for the wire and cable industry. We're in Leominster, Massachusetts (aka "Pioneer Plastic City") and we strive to embody the manufacturing history of the area, applying decades of engineering experience and thoughtful design philosophies to solve challenges and produce robust, innovative machinery.
