BIZ: Performance: Randon profits fall 50% in the first half of 2020

Brazil - Truck body, trailer and CV components manufacture, Empresas Randon SA of Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul State showed 50% lower profit in the first half of 2020 at BRA58.2m (USD11m) compared with BRA116.2m (USD21.9m) in 1H/2019. This was on net revenue of BRA2.1bn (USD400m) in 1H/2020 a 14% decrease when compared with BRA2.4bn (USD 460m) in the same period of 2019.
