Brazil - Meritor do Brasil Ltda of Guarulhos, Sao Paulo State has announced it is working on the development of the Meritor Auto-DCDL (Meritor Automatic Driver Controlled Differential Lock), an electronic system that allows the automatic locking of the differential of a heavy-duty truck axle to generate extra torque. Meritor states the Auto-DCDL can be installed on any manufacturers' drive axle that has a mechanical wheel locking system.
