MKT: Statistics: ANFAVEA cautiously revises upwards its forecast for CV production in Brazil

Brazil - The National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA) of Sao Paulo, SP has released a more optimistic forecast of commercial vehicle production in 2020. It is forecasting output of around 95,000 units, up 15.8% in relation to the previous forecast of 82,000 units, but 32.7% below the numbers registered in 2019, which was 141,144 units. Luiz Carlos Moraes, president of ANFAVEA, said: "Some segments are encouraging fleet owners to renew their fleets such as agribusiness and e-commerce. As for buses, except for the transport of school children, the most representative segments (urban and road (coach)) are in a very bad situation."
