Dunlop launches new range of steer tyres for Brazilian truck and bus markets

Brazil - Dunlop Pneus Ltda of Fazenda Rio Grande, State of Parana (owned by Sumitomo Rubber do Brasil Ltda) has announced the launch of two separate dedicated tyre ranges for the truck and bus segments - the SP 320 and SP 176, respectively - as part of its strategy to expand its participation and market share of the Brazilian market. Currently the new tyres are to be imported from overseas units, but the company plans to expand production to include truck and bus tyres in 2019 - see separate article on page 1 of this issue.
