Light duty truck segment up 8.2%

India - Sales of LCV goods carrier (trucks) vehicles (gvw ≤ 7.5t) grew by 8.2% to 258,661 units in April-December of 2016-17 from 239,143 units in three quarters of 2015-16. Production of light duty trucks also increased by 6.5%, while exports experienced nominal growth of 1% to 47,767 units (47,284).
