BIZ: Product MKT: Report - Forecast & Trends: A review of the trailer industry in India and worldwide

India - This report is based on a webinar held in late July by India's leading automotive magazine, MotorIndia, in conjunction with representatives from ZF India, Jost and trailer builder, Tata International DLT. In summarising the state of the Indian trailer industry, Mr V Ramanathan, OE Sales & Marketing ZF Group - CV Control Systems Wabco India Ltd said the Indian trailer industry has been growing slowly over the past decade but that up until 2018, the trailer industry grew at around a 10% compound annual growth rate during the previous five years reaching some 35,000 units that year. "Due to the Covid-19 situation the market has come down by some 40% this year," V Ramanathan reported, "but over the next five years, we are forecasting growth of some 15% CAGR."
