Project ambitions for the railways and highways

UK Government is urged by stakeholders in Wales to invest in line speed enhancements and major capacity improvements to the North Wales Mainline to allow a significant increase in services. An upgrade to Chester Station is also advocated to support connections to English cities while a transformation of the Wrexham to Liverpool line, via Bidston, is also encouraged.
