Sophisticated vision technology fitted to futuristic vehicles that read the road ahead could help in the early detection of highway surface defects. Start up company the Academy of Robotics is currently testing its autonomous concept vehicle 'Kar-go' in Hounslow, west London, to transport medicines from pharmacies to places of need such as care homes.
