PPG Outbids AkzoNobel to Acquire Tikkurila, On Top of Ennis-Flint & Worwag Purchases

PPG Industries (headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA) has recently made three important acquisitions to consolidate its position as the world's largest paintmaker. On 8 February 2021, it became clear that PPG had outbid AkzoNobel to acquire the entire business and assets of Tikkurila Oy (headquartered in Vantaa, Finland), one of the world's top 30 largest paint manufacturing companies.
