TiO2 feedstocks represent an important component in the cost structure for all TiO2 pigment producers. Chemours has the advantage over its rivals that it can use chlorinatable ilmenite, notably at its plants in Altamira and DeLisle. The company also has the advantage that it can be fairly flexible about the mix of feedstocks used at all four of its pigment plants.
