BASF starts 2021 with very healthy first quarter results

Overall, the company generated sales of €19.4bn in the first quarter of 2021, up 15.8% on the same period last year. EBIT across the business rose 58.7% to reached €2.3bn. 'BASF had a strong start to the year 2021,' said CEO Martin Brudermuller.
