A fishy source of non-iso PUs

St Johns, Newfoundland - Chemists at the Memorial University of Newfoundland have devised a way of using fish waste to make polyurethanes. The PUs they make have the additional benefit of being biodegradable. There is a large, and growing, fishing and aquaculture industry in coastal Newfoundland, which generates a large amount of waste, said Fran-cesca Kerton, who led the research.
