The results of adsorption of synthesized lithium folate Li2C19H17N7O6 center dot 5H(2)O, bovine serum albumin, acid-base indicators, and some dyes from aqueous solutions on ultradispersed nanodiamond of UDA-SP grade are presented. Data on the adsorption of cationic and anionic dyes, measurement of the suspension effect and zeta potential may indicate that the nanodiamond has a negatively charged surface in the working pH range of adsorption (6.0-7.5). The isotherms of folate ion, lithium ion, and bovine serum albumin appeared to be of Langmuir type, and the saturation sorption values were 1.05, 1.14 mmol/g, and 180 mg/g, respectively. Equilibrium constants of the sorption-desorption processes for lithium folate ions have also been determined.
