Turkey's economy and especially its plastics sector appear to be relatively unaffected by the numerous upheavals surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic. A significantly lower capacity utilisation in plastics processing was only seen from April to June 2020. After that, the industry recovered visibly, with figures returning to the previous year's level quickly and continuing on a slight growth course until the end of the year.
