摘要

A pot culture experiment was conducted to study the effect of FYM and N on quality and soil nutrient status after harvest of ashwagandha in Typic Torripsamment of Hisar (Haryana). Application of fertilizer-N alone significantly improved the status of organic carbon, available-N in post-harvest soil but decreased the P and K. Application of nitrogen also slightly decreased DTPA extractable micronutrients (Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn) up to the level of 25 mg N/kg soil in post-harvest soil. Application of FYM at both the levels (12.5 and 25 t/ha) increased the organic carbon, available N, P, K and DTPA extractable micronutrients status of the soil alone or in combination with fertilizer-N.
