The disease incidence/severity of web blight of soybean was more in early sown crop as compared to late sown crop. The disease incidence/severity was more in closer plant spacing (30 cm) as compared to wider plant spacings (45 and 60 cm). Applicationof Rhizobium and FYM also increased the disease severity. Seven days old inoculum was found more virulent among the others (3, 5, 10 and 12 days old). Inoculum amount @ 3 g/I of water showed maximum disease severity. The pathogen was polyphagous in nature as it infected seven kharif crops and four weeds.
