摘要

Five diets (1-5) with different dietary protein levels (35-45%) were prepared by using processed soybean (HPS) as the main protein source to study the growth performance of fish H. fossilis. The study revealed that use of HPS upto the protein level 40.25% not only resulted in high growth performance but also reduced total feed cost. This also reduced excretion of nitrogenous and total organic matter, possibly also of phosphorus and alleviated pollution problems in the intensive aquacultural systems.
