Israel's Ministry of Energy has announced preparations for the fourth offshore bidding round for oil & gas exploration licences in the country's exclusive economic zone. Twenty-five blocks have been mapped and will be grouped into six clusters with a maximum area of up to 1,600km2 each. No further details are .available at this time. Block 72, the only block offered in the country's third offshore bidding round, has yet to be awarded.
