Investment plan targets domestic private sector

State-controlled Saudi Aramco will spend up to 1 trillion riyals ($267bn) over the next decade as part of a government investment push, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has announced. That does not mean the firm will become a state investment fund, but it does mean that some of its planned major investments could be opened up to Saudi private-sector participation.
