After taking over as the MD & CEO of RHI Magnesita's India operations, you have set a target to double your market shares in India to 40% by the year 23-24. Do you think this is an achievable target considering the fact that post pandemic most of the steel makers have reduced their operational capacity significantly? The impact of the pandemic has definitely been hard across the refractory industry and our customer industries. At RHI Magnesita globally and in India, we have seen contraction in demand resulting in reduction in our current year forecasts by over 20%. This is more worrisome because we already had a weak 2019 and market was recovering only towards the end of the last fiscal when COVID hit us. However, we believe that it is a temporary phase and we have worked on our internal measures like reduction of our working capital intensity, better management of our AR & Inventory, reducing our fixed costs etc. to emerge stronger out of this situation.
