What started as a purely ethical consideration for consumers, demand for accurate and transparent product-specific data on carbon dioxide emissions has since become a decisive factor when choosing products. To supply such data with authority, OEMs rely heavily on suppliers to have detailed and independently verified data available at every step of their production processes. OEMs can then use it to demonstrate how their environmental performance stacks up against the competition, plus compare the environmental performance of different suppliers so that they can make the most sustainable choices.
