Clinical Trials for AKI: Lessons Learned From the ARDS Network

The acute respiratory distress syndrome and acute kidney injury are both heterogeneous disease syndromes. A large number of multicenter clinical trials have been conducted focused on the treatment and prevention of the acute respiratory distress syndrome.
