Advocacy is the act of supporting a cause-championing interests that are meaningful to us as individuals or to our businesses or our communities. ISRI has the best advocates in the business, and we continue to be active at all levels of government-local, state, federal, and international-to promote the recycling industry as essential to the manufacturing sector; scrap recyclables as environmentally valuable commodities, not waste; and recycling as a source of jobs and an economic driver.
