摘要

Nuclear Medicine, originated from de Havey's tracer principle, was defined by my mentor at the Johns Hopkins University, Prof. Henry Wagner, Jr in his book: "Principle and Practice of Nuclear Medicine", as the quantitative study of regional pathophysiology and biochemistry on an anatomically configured image (at a molecular level as later on amended in his highlight lectures) [1]. The existence of Nuclear Medicine as a specialty owes to this time-proven definition.
