摘要

Retinal images are often required for very delicate analysis of several retinal and neuro-pathological diseases.The eye is viewed as the medium to the neuropathology so it is proved that neurological degradation takes place at the start in the retina of the eye.Recently,there are some parameters changes on the retina of the eye before it affects the brain.However,the appalling high-quality of the image due to inevitable reasons restricts the analysis of numerous eye diseases.Here in this paper,a unique edge-preserving image enhancement technique,which became able to conserve the edge as properly as reduce the noise in the images,had been presented.Furthermore,this method may even be used as a pre-processing procedure to increase the precision of the vessel recognition methodology.This method is to evaluate the state of the retina to observe the changes in retina due the oxidation of proteins and lipids by solar radiation or the degenerative diseases.The experimental frameworks are executed the use of retinal fundus images of Diabetic retinopathy dataset,Glaucoma dataset and Alzheimer's disease dataset and also the findings are analysed by considering Peak Signal to Noise Ratio,Mean Square Error,Structural Similarity Index and Root Mean Square Error value.The outcomes show the prevalence of our approach over progressive image denoising techniques which include the bilateral filter.
