The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education have agreed greater flexibility for the Tool Process Design Engineer Apprenticeship developed by the CBM. The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education have confirmed that in addition to a Degree an alternative HNC or HND qualifications can be studied by the Apprentice. Additionally, very experienced candidates who can meet all of the requirements of the standard and successfully complete the end point assessment do not have to complete a qualification.
