While restrictions on the Financial, energy and transportation sectors in Iran were removed, hundreds of Iranian entities were not taken off blacklists, and economic pressures on the country still exist. The U.S. has moved to create new sanctions over other violations, including an Iranian rocket in the summer of 2017.
