摘要

The data on the fracture of pressure tubes (PTs) of channel-type nuclear reactors (CANDU, Indian PHWR, and RBMK-1000) according to the delayed hydride cracking (DHC) mechanism are summarized. The most important factors affecting the main characteristics of DHC in reactor PTs made of a Zr–2.5% Nb alloy are considered. The results obtained can be used to predict the behavior of the zirconium components of cores of water-cooled reactors.
