Decreasing the Periodic Errors in Machining

The development of machining errors when using machine tools is analyzed and means of decreasing such errors are presented. The fourth scientific stage in the development of manufacturing (beginning in 2000) corresponds to the transition from the fifth to the sixth global technological eras. Manufacturing precision continues to increase, in the search for greater operational reliability. In calculating the periodic machining errors associated with different methods, the Bryansk technological school continues to lead the way (Table 1) [1-6].
