The global automotive silicones market, valued at $2.6 billion in 2015, is expected to reach $5.84 billion by 2025, according to a new report by Grand View Research. The rising automobile production in developing economies such as India, Vietnam and Brazil as well as growing awareness about lightweight materials used in automotive production are expected to drive the demand for silicones.
