Contemplating the Scientific Legacy of the Atomic Bomb

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum commemorates the United States' bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, during World War II. The museum houses belongings from victims, artifacts, photos, and various displays that give visitors insight into how the city was devastated by the event. As a visitor to the museum, I learned about the experiences of some of the people who witnessed the effects of what was, at the time, the world's most powerful weapon.
