Scientists Urge Noise Mitigation to Ensure Healthy Oceans

Marine scientists from 20 institutions around the globe are calling on international and national authorities to employ existing technologies - supported by appropriate managerial and policy frameworks - to mitigate anthropogenic marine noise, with the objectives of improving stewardship of ocean soundscapes and maintaining healthy acoustic environments for oceanic fauna.
