For C.J. Mushrooms, the transition from founders Clint and Ro Blackwell to their children, Carla and Tyler, was a very natural progression. Over the years, as Carla and Tyler's level of responsibility in the company increased, confidence in their future leadership grew at the same rate, enabling the Blackwells to begin the process of family business succession planning. Carla and Tyler each have a portion of the company that they are primarily responsible for, which allows for minimal overlap and maximum efficiency.
