Brisbane Model Truck and Car Club's annual club project for 2015 was to build any Ford car, SUV, light commercial pick-up or van from any decade, from the 1910's through to 2015. The idea behind the project was to celebrate the 2015 anniversary of 90 years of manufacturing Ford vehicles in Australia. Ford's prior announcement they were ceasing production in Australia may have dampened some member's spirits, resulting in a couple of club members withdrawing from the project build, but the remaining builders were undaunted. The club project asked that only one model be built per member, but several club members decided to build two models, with each model coming from a different decade. Toowoomba's David Chitham was one member who took on the additional challenge of building model Fords from two different eras, the 1920's and the 1950's. The 1950's model will be featured in a future ModelArt issue.
