Preliminary data from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) show that 1.283 bln of Renewable Identification Numbers (RIN) were generated in the conventional biofuel segment (mainly corn-based ethanol; D-6) in January 2018, around 9% of the 2018 Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) target.
