EVALUATION OF PRE-EMERGENT HERBICIDES FOR WEED CONTROL IN NO TILLAGE SOYBEANS

The rapid adoption of no-tillage systems in soybean production requires evaluation of residual weed control with pre-emergence standard herhicides.(l). The present investigation assessed weed control efficacy, crop injury and effect on soybean yield of different pre-emergence herbicides alone and as tank mixes applied after a previous maize crop under zero tillage conditions.
