摘要

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an age-related neurodegenerative disease, characterized by a decline in cognitive function with age. The published articles indicated that anthocyanins can effectively reverse the age-related defects, but the specific mechanism is still unclear. In this study, headspace-gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry (HS-GC-IMS) and headspace-solid phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS) were used to fingerprint the effect of anthocyanins on volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in faeces and urine of AD model mice. One-way analysis of variance and partial least squares-discriminant analysis were performed to evaluate the difference in VOCs among the samples.
