Evaluation of root dip treatments with nematicides on development of root gall and yield (Meloidogyne incognita) in tomato and aubergine

The root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid & White) Chitwood is controlled by nematicides (3). The cost involved in treating the soil with chemical to control M. incognita is high. However, the quantity of the chemical used in root dip treatments is very small. In the present investigation, the efficacy of treating the seedlings of aubergine and tomato with aqueous solutions of nematicides was tested.
