After the turbulent year of 2020, the tile industry is looking to move forward in the year ahead. With investments in new innovations setting the stage for 2021, tile experts are expecting the industry to rise to pre-pandemic levels. "Our most positive estimate is the category will be up in 2021 yet stay below 2019 levels due to the lagging commercial sector," said Greg Mather, president of Crossville. "Of course, much of this will be influenced by how quickly people return to normal activities throughout the year - and we can't predict how that will play out."
