John Deere pulls pin on Agritechnica

John Deere will not be attending Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany later this year. Agritechnica is one of the biggest machinery and agricultural technology trade shows in the world and John Deere said its decision was reached after 'intensive and thoughtful discussion both internally and with selected German John Deere dealers'.In a statement, John Deere said: "The wide spread of the COVID-19 virus has caused more than 2.2 million deaths worldwide over the last 12 months."Alejandro Sayago, vice president sales & marketing, John Deere Region 2, said: "Despite numerous controlling measures, such as business restrictions, lockdowns and event cancellations, the pandemic has not yet been sustainably brought under control.
