Isolated chronic conjunctivitis due to storage mite allergy. American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology

Chronic allergic conjunctivitis is a long-lasting disease that affects the quality rife of sensitized individuals. It is particularly troublesome in patients whose conditions are misdiagnosed, who are usually referred to ophthalmologists, allergists, internists, or psychiatrists. Two cases of isolated chronic conjunctivitis due to sensitization to storage mites are described herein.
