SWEDEN-Hexpol AB's president and chief executive officer Mikael Fryklund has departed the rubber processing specialist with immediate effect,the Swedish group has announced."The board of Hexpol AB and Mikael Fryklund have decided to part ways,"said the 14 Feb statement,adding that"several circumstances"had led to the decision.The group had recently not"met our expectations,"with respect to growth in sales and earnings,explained chairman of the board Ceorg Brunstam.Fryklund joined Hexpol in July 2017,having previously headed Trelleborg Industrial Solutions.His tenure at Hexpol ended despite what Brunstam described as a number of"well-managed and well-positioned"acquisitions.
