Towards a Regulatory Framework of Allotment Gardening in the Czech Republic

Being able to consume fruits and vegetables grown in one's own garden is a privilege. Whereas allotment gardening has a long-standing tradition in the Czech Republic1 going back to the times of Communist Czechoslovakia2, community/urban gardening hasemerged recently as a bottom-up activity by NGOs and/or local communities trying to make constructive use of soil that has been abandoned or neglected.
