摘要

White syndrome has been reported in Indo-Pacific area include in Indonesia's water. Nature Reserve Pulau Sempu has fringing reef coral that provides good and service for human and thousand invertebrates inside them. More than 10 species of hard coralhave been contributing on reef development in this area including foliose coral Echinopora lamellose. These corals are concentrated on Sempu bay with local name Kondang Buntung (Depan). The white syndrome disease showed the significant contribution on coral cover declining in this island to 26-34%. The aim of this research was to observe bacteria associate of white syndrome disease of E. lamellosa at NR Pulau Sempu. Bacteria were isolated from field and examined by culture dependent technique. The characteristics of bacterial community used molecular techniquae of 16S rDNA. The molecular test showed isolates E.1.1 and E.3.3, (99% and 100%) are member of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain JBT18N, while isolates E.2.1 and E.2.2 are Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain P60, and isolate E.2.3 and E.3.5 99 are Pseudomonas sp. V7. A total 6 isolates bacteria show that white syndrome disease of E. Lamellose as sociated with genus Pseudomonas.
