EV charging in the winter test region

537 In an ongoing effort to facilitate cold climate testing of electric vehicles, Icemakers is expanding the EV charging infrastructure in the winter test region in Swedish Lapland. As of this winter test season, the company will operate publicly available fast charging stations in both Arjeplog and Arvidsjaur with a capacity of up to 50kW. The possibility to charge quickly and easily in multiple locations in the winter test region opens up new opportunities for testing in general, and endurance testing of EVs on public roads in particular. An extended range brings with it more plentiful options for route planning, enabling more comprehensive and effective endurance tests of EVs.
