Oil-shear load brake applications

521 Dynamometer load brakes based on oil-shear technology fit a wide variety of testing applications. Primary applications are focused on low-speed and high-torque applications. A high level of torque is often thought of as hundreds or thousands of pound-foot or Newton meters, but this is not necessarily true. Although many dynamometer load brakes are used for load testing final drives, axles, gearing in large machines such as tractors, large military equipment as well as off-road equipment, the same technology can work extremely well in much smaller applications.
