It has been a year since the pandemic gradually spread to all corners of the globe, causing major disruptions to the food supply chain. P.E.I.'s Depart-ment of Agriculture and Land staff continue to work from home but are increasingly allowed more office time.Many events and meetings remain virtual but face-to-face meetings are increasingly common. Pending approval of an operational plan submitted to the Chief Public Health Office, the beef community has expressed relief that the P.E.I. Easter Beef Show and Sale will be held as an in-person event in March with CO VID-19 health protocols in place. The event will not be open to the general public, but it will be livestreamed.
